Li Chen, PhD, director of Terahertz Institute of Spectroscopy and Imaging research of SITTI. She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in electronics and communications engineering. She also received her Ph.D. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from Liverpool University in 2016. She is mainly engaged in the research and development of optical coherence tomography (OCT), and uses self-developed OCT system to achieve rapid high-precision pellet coating of cross-sectional imaging, the cornea, car paint the thickness of each layer, as well as sample surface morphology nondestructive testing. Dr. Li has worked for TeraView UK, a leading global manufacturer of terahertz spectrometers, in the practice and research of industrial applications for terahertz imaging (TPS) and spectral analysis (TPS). With the international advanced level of optical imaging and terahertz technology theoretical knowledge, published two core SCI papers, many times in the international scientific research summit on technical seminars and reports. In 2016 she joined SITTI, has been working in the terahertz spectroscopy and imaging center, responsible for product development and application development. Currently she is responsible for project follow-up, management, and team coordination.
